After the storms , brings sea treasures on our beaches

After the hot weather in the month of May bringing temperatures of over 30 degree’s for the spring bank holiday. June begins with storms, epic wind and biblical rains into Cornwall.

The depth of the clouds against the pale sands of our cornish beaches are so dramatic it hurts your eyes to see it all . Along with the rough seas and the crashing waves brings treasures to our cornish shoreline.

Hidden amongst the rocks , pebbles and shingle , seaglass can be found along our coastline .

The rough seas bring up the old glass from the past century , blues originating from the perfume and medicine bottles .

These old bottles have been broken down , recycled and frosted by sometimes hundreds of years into gem like shapes by the tides of time.

Seaglass gems now set in an open bezel of recycled fine silver available on my shop.
