Description
Lavender Seaham Seaglass pendant.
This is a stunning example of how Unique Sea glass can be.
Recycled by the waves of the famous Seaham beach in County Durham U.K. for possibly over 100 years this unusual pale lavender sea glass gem reflects the traditional glass made in the Candlish bottle works in Seaham that closed in 1921.
Its frosted surface a unique signiture of seaglass and originating from the typical glass produced by the Seaham bottleworks of the last century they’re “end of day “ glass was deposited into the sea and is still washing up on the shoreline of the east coast of the UK.
Handset in my signature setting of recycled fine silver in an open bezel of 5mm deep wrapping around its unique shape and colour.
Dangling on a sterling silver diamond cut curb chain it measures 20mm ( including ring) and 10mm at its widest.
