Description
Pink seaham seaglass pendant
Collected from the shoreline of the famous seaglass beach of Seaham , County Durham on the north east coast of the UK.
This seaglass is extra special as the bottle factories of this coastline closed back in 1921 ,its glass waste of that era is now washing up on the coastline having been recycled and shaped by the tides for over 100 years .
The frosted and slightly pitted surface of this beautiful pink seaglass gem is typical of the seaglass of this area rounded and smoothed by the waves for over a century .
Measuring approximately 20mm in length ( including ring ) by 12mm it is surrounded by its 5mm fine silver setting handmade specifically for its shape .
