Seafoam soft green sea glass earrings.
Shaped, frosted and recycled by the waves of the famous sea glass beach of Seaham in the north east of the UK .
The green sea glass originating from this area is usually over 100 years old and from old medicine and perfume bottles from the last century .
The bottleworks factory of Seaham that closed in 1921 disposed of its “end of day glass” into the sea so the sea glass found on the nearby beaches are usually antique glass that has been tumbled over 100’s of years into beautiful “gems”
Handset into an open bezel setting of recycled fine silver these delicate blue sea glass “gems” measure approximately 15mm in length ( 30mm full drop on wires) by 7mm wide .
Please note that sea glass is very unique so earrings are quite a challenge so they are not a match in colour or shape and have imperfections within the frosted surface characteristic to sea glass.
